Convergence

Convergence is two or more technologies that have been created joining (or 'converging', even) together to create one piece of technology that can utilize both original uses. For example, I have a phone (not that I need it, being a robot) that can use the internet, as well as do all the things a mobile phone could originally do. This is helpful as for some reason, some people leave me facebook posts instead of picking up a phone or texting me. Like a check my facebook page ever two seconds. Except now I do because of these people. Damn!
